Together with Toradex, an innovative, internationally leading player in the embedded industry with a strong focus on engineering and technology, we are looking for you as Regional Sales Manager Europe. In this role, you will lead a team of Technical Sales Engineers and Field Application Engineers driving their focus in consultative sales and business development. Your tasks
- You’ll build a high-performance team by providing your consultative sales knowledge, acting as a team coach to help improve their conversion rates and evaluate their performance
- You ensure the team is tracking opportunities, capturing customer requirements and project progress in EMEA
- You are accountable for the execution of Toradex's global sales strategy in your region, providing sales leadership and strategic direction to regional branch offices and your sales teams
- You will work with the Global VP of Sales to establish the sales channels to market by defining and executing the distribution strategy at regional and country levels
- You define regional sales territories to maximize sales and profit potential
- You will drive the entire sales process, starting from lead identification and solution presentation, all the way to the successful commissioning of projects and support services
- You deliver regional sales results in accordance with agreed policies and business plans, especially focusing on net sales and gross margins
- You’ll provide structured customer feedback on new and existing products in target markets to product management and executives
- You’ll visit customers and showcase the superior values of Toradex’ s products and provide pre-sales support together with the technical sales team
- You strive to develop long term relationships with key customers and make sure the customers are up-to-date and that requirements are met in the long term
Your profile
- Strong focus on consultative selling: Creating value and trust with prospects and exploring their needs prior to proposing suitable solutions, assisting customers in implementing their product ideas
- Proven ability to sell at all levels, from engineering to management and executive level
- Experience leading Consultative Sales Teams in the technology area
- Strong proactive communication and problem-solving skills combined with high integrity and ability to work in teams
- Passionate about the latest technology in embedded computing and assisting customers in implementing their product ideas
- Experience with embedded operating systems such as Embedded Linux, QNX or other OS
- Fluent in English, German is a clear advantage
